Trauma is a result of an overwhelming sense of danger, powerlessness and fear. Healing is a result of feeling safe, empowered and supported.

Hi, as the Director of WellMinds @ Grendon rooms we welcome you to a therapeutic place of hope and recovery.
I am an Accredited Clinical Mental Health Social Worker and passionate about working with Trauma. I have worked for Government - Community Mental Health in adults & children teams; experience with sexual assault both adults and children; Hospital work and acute presentations. I’ve worked in rural areas and in a Homeless mental Health team in Vic and with NGOs with children (Neurodivergent presentations and their families including children’s disorders/behaviours) and Headspace youth trauma team. In my spare time I’ve responded to many critical incident responses across Qld under the Employment Assistance program.
Since 2012, WellMinds private practice formed, providing therapy to children adolescents and adults and in 2017 specialised in Trauma work, utilising EMDR therapy protocols & other evidence-based therapies.
I love my work as an EMDR Practitioner as it allows me to share my passion for this amazing therapy and be a mentor and encourage other therapists as they engage in their EMDR journey. The therapeutic work of EMDR and ‘Part’ work enables clients to meet their best adult self.
My practice comes from a non-judgmental, respectful stance practicing mindfulness both within and outside my work.
Our Clinicians
Clinicians working at WellMinds have years of knowledge, practice and expertise to serve a wide range of clients.
